How to get started
To confirm if you are required to track steps or activity minutes, log in to your Healthy Choice portal and check your Health Status.
- View your Health Status and Program Requirements. Even if you are not required to track steps, you still can.
- Link your activity device to your portal. Your daily, monthly and yearly steps and activity minutes will display on your dashboard.
- A one-time $115 credit is available in the portal for purchasing an activity device. Log into your portal and select "Device Store" for more details.
- Ensure your data is syncing by logging into your Healthy Choice portal account at least once a week.
Note: “Active Minutes” are calculated when your device shows activity of moderate or greater intensity for at least 10 consecutive minutes. This typically means recording about 75 steps per minute or more for 10+ minutes. The Healthy Choice portal does not receive other events from your device’s data system due to compatibility limitations. Manually added steps or activity minutes are not permitted.
It is your responsibility to make sure your activity data is being recorded accurately in the portal. The Employee Health Plan does not take responsibility for lost, broken, stolen, malfunctioning devices or data loss.
