Ohio Caring for Caregivers
Caring for Caregivers is comprised of several programs that are available to employees and dependents when they need information, support, or guidance to address concerns such as marital problems, childcare or eldercare matters, financial difficulties, work issues, or substance use problems. Professional, confidential and free support is available through these programs, including:
• Professional Staff Assistance Program
• Licensed Professionals Health Program
• Employee Assistance Program
Caring for caregivers offers active employees and their eligible household dependents confidential assessment, short-term counseling, and resource and referral services at no charge. Services are confidential, and all records are kept separate from medical and employment records.
It is not necessary for Cleveland Clinic employees and their dependents to be enrolled in the Health Benefit Program (HBP) to access Caring for Caregivers’ services; however, an internal Caring for Caregivers provider must be used. While there is no charge for Caring for Caregivers’ services, if a referral is made for services outside the program, the member will be responsible for any charges not covered by the HBP.
