Cleveland Clinic Tier 1 Weight Management Programs
are services that are offered through Cleveland Clinic and the Regional hospitals. These programs have a schedule of classes with an agenda for each class. They are offered at different times and different locations through the year and some require a minimum number of participants for the program to take place. Integrated Medical Weight Management Program
A comprehensive and multi-disciplinary approach to weight management and long-term weight loss using Shared Medical Appointments. Geared toward individuals struggling with obesity and having a BMI of 30 or more. eCoaching Weight Management Program
A 180-day program designed to help participants lose weight and reduce waist size to improve health and vitality while eliminating hidden health risks. The program involves interactive email exchanges between the participant and the health coach they are paired with for the duration of the 6-month program. Each health coach is a part of our team of medical and non-medical professionals led by Dr. Mike Roizen, Chief Wellness Officer at Cleveland Clinic.
Eat Well Group Weight Management Program
Eat Well is a group weight management program for EHP members with a BMI of 27 or above. Participants meet weekly for 10 weeks with a dietitian. The program focus includes nutrition education, mindful eating and healthy lifestyle (stress management, sleep habits and physical activity). Groups are available at a variety of Cleveland Clinic locations on various days and times. Click here for a full list of locations and times

Be Well Kids Clinic
Be Well Kids Clinic works with children (ages 2 to 20) and their families to develop strategies and create plans for a healthy lifestyle change. The EHP is offering a $100 incentive to participants in the Be Well Kids Clinic that meet the following requirements the first year enrolled. (start date is first completed PCP visit):
Fit Youth Programs
- Completion of a Primary Care Provider (PCP) visit, which will include a physical
- Completion of five Be Well Kids Clinic visits
- Maintenance of BMI Z score from the initial PCP visit to the completion of the fifth visit in the Be Well Kids Clinic
- Requirements for subsequent years will be conducted with your physician or primary care provider
This program is for children ages 7-16 who are serious about wanting to lose weight. Specifically designed for children and their parents, the group meets once a week for 90 minutes and lasts for 12 weeks. Group leaders include a psychologist, dietitian and exercise physiologist. In addition to helping your child lose weight, the program will guide him or her in developing new eating and exercise habits and help the whole family learn how to change the things at home adversely affecting eating and exercise habits. Weight Management Guidelines
The EHP Wellness Program will pay for the Tier 1 Weight Management Program for EHP members only. If you are interested in participating in a Tier 1 Weight Management program, you must complete the EHP Wellness Program Weight Management Application
when you enroll in a program. You must provide the name of the program and location in order for the EHP to make payment arrangements for you. Please contact the EHP Customer Service Unit with questions at 216-448-2247 or toll-free at 1-877-688-2247.

* Applications are due within 10 days from the time you sign up for the program. Failure to complete the program application will result in non-payment of the program and financial responsibility will become the member's.
